I am a PhD student currently working with Prof. Alfred Hero in the Department of EECS at the University of Michigan. I received my M.S. and B.S. at Brigham Young University in the ECE department.

I am interested in problems involving big data and information measures such as entropy, mutual information, and divergence. Specifically, I am interested in scalable, nonparametric estimation of these quantities.
